تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ / الأنفال -67
You
desire the vanities of this world, but God wills of the world to come
وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ
الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ
/الأنعام -32
As
for the life of this world, it is nothing but a frolic and frivolity
زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا /البقرة-212
Enamoured
are the unbelievers of the life of this world
الْمَالُ وَالْبَنُونَ
زِينَةُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا /الكهف -46
Wealth
and children are only the gloss of this world
وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ
الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ /
آل عمران -185
As
for the life of this world, it is nothing but a merchandise of vanity
وَمَا هَٰذِهِ
الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ /العنكبوت -64
The
life of this world is only a sport and play
َيا قَوْمِ إِنَّمَا
هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ / غافر -39
O
people, the life of this world is ephemeral
لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ/ الزمر -39
There is good for those who do good in this
world
وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا /ال عمران -145
And
to him who desires a reward in this world, We shall give it
وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا
فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ / الأعراف -156
Enjoin
for us good in the world, and good in the world to come
